An outside concrete slab of 20-feet by 70-feet receives radiant sub-surface heating from oil recycled through the Clean Burn unit's boiler. This in-floor heating melts away snow and ice so the exterior of the building has a clear, safe access area that requires no shoveling.
"Not having to chip away at ice or shovel off snow from around our doors is such a luxury," says Davis. "I've recommended these used oil recycling units to others in our area and would purchase another one again in a heartbeat. It's a dream to maintain and clean, plus it serves a positive environmental mission of reusing a natural resource."
The four technicians at Marc's Garage appreciate the warmth of their work surroundings during the frigid winter months. "It doesn't matter what the temperature is outside because the interior is kept comfortable with the free heat from the Clean Burn boiler," says Davis. "Before getting this unit I had another brand. I've received a fast return-on-investment for this unit and wouldn't think about having a garage operation without it."
