DR Systems to Exhibit New Unity RIS/PACS Platform at RSNA

SAN DIEGO--Sept. 15, 2006--DR Systems will be exhibiting its new Unity RIS/PACS platform at RSNA 2006. Unity covers the entire medical imaging exam workflow process. As with previous DR Systems RIS/PACS, it also offers features that go beyond traditional RIS/PACS capabilities.
DR Systems, the leading independent provider of RIS/PACS solutions, will be at Booth 1919 in the South Building, Hall A, from Sunday, Nov. 26 to Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006. RSNA 2006 will be held Nov. 26 through Dec. 1 in Chicago.

The Unity RIS/PACS has also been designed to provide an advanced medical imaging and information management system infrastructure for regional health information organizations (RHIOs). DR Systems PACS form the primary radiology backbone of the Santa Barbara Care Data Exchange, the nation's first and best-known RHIO.
In addition, DR Systems is an industry leader in developing an integrated diagnostic reading/reporting/archiving solution for mammography. A podium presentation at the annual conference of the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC), held in March 2006, described the successful integration of mammography with a DR Systems PACS at Sansum-Santa Barbara Medical Foundation Clinic in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Through a dealer agreement with InSiteOne, Inc., DR Systems also offers integrated on-site and off-site secure DICOM storage for disaster recovery as one of its archive product options.
