Dover's Pump Solutions Group Almatec® Brand Receives 2011 Innovation Award in Fluid Handling Technology

Pump Manufacturer Recognized Two Years in a Row by Flow Control Readers
Kamp-Lintfort, Germany- October 20, 2011 Almatec®, a premier manufacturer of specialized air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps and a member of Dover Corporation's (NYSE: DOV) Pump Solutions Group (PSG(TM)), announced that it has received the 2011 Flow Control Innovation Award as presented by the readers of Flow Control magazine. Almatec was honored for its revolutionary FUTUR-Omega Series AODD pumps. The FUTUR-Omega Series, with its solid and complete PTFE or stainless steel design, using the newest generation of PTFE compounds and diaphragm geometry, has been developed for high-end semiconductor applications with increasing lifetime of most AODD pumps for similar applications.
Presented annually by Flow Control magazine to recognize innovation and excellence for novel solutions in the areas of fluid measurement, control and containment. This is the second such award received by Almatec in the category. In 2010, Almatec won an Innovation Award for its E-Series line of AODD pumps.

The winning technologies recognized as the most innovative by readers were announced in the September issue of Flow Control magazine, followed by real-world application stories on each in the October issue.
