February 14, 2005 - NJM/CLI presents the high-speed Cremer Double Tablet Counter at Interphex Booth #529. The Cremer CF1220D features two counting heads and a two-lane filling conveyor to maximize productivity within a space-saving 12-foot footprint. Designed and built for unparalleled reliability using infrared detection that is unaffected by dust, NJM/CLI guarantees the Cremer Double to be 100% accurate.
Filling up to 110 bottles per minute, based on 100-count bottles, the Cremer Double handles tablets, caplets and hard or soft capsules ranging in size from 2 mm up to 25 mm in diameter. The tablet counter accommodates a wide assortment of container sizes from 30 cc up to 1500 cc. Up to 300 product recipes can be pre-programmed, enabling product-specific machine and control parameters to be downloaded for fast and simple set-up and changeover. With a spare set of product contact parts, the Cremer Double can be changed over in less than 10 minutes with no tools required.
The Cremer Double offers enhanced software with improved diagnostics that enables users to maximize production efficiency by identifying and remedying limiting factors during operation. The diagnostic tools, together with a touch-screen control panel, enable operators to handle tasks that previously required the skills of a mechanic.
NJM/CLI can equip the Cremer Double with an integrated broken tablet sorting system that removes broken tablets prior to counting and filling. Compared to rejecting the entire bottle when a broken tablet is identified, the optional broken tablet sorting system increases production yield while maximizing product quality.
Exceeding cGMP specifications, the Cremer Double is made of stainless steel with polished 316 contact parts and features raised bed conveyors and sealed vibrators.
