New Compact Double-Sided Tape Dispenser
Automatically Cuts Tape to Size, Removes Backing Liner CLEVELAND, OH-April 21, 2006- A new automated tape dispenser has been introduced by ASG, a division of Jergens, Inc. In addition to cutting tape to the desired size, the new EZ-7000 RP dispenser can remove the back liner from the tape, delivering a ready-to-apply piece to the operator. The new EZ-7000 RP tape dispenser is a compact 11.5 x 14.0 x 21.5 cm (4 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" ) but built for industrial use. Using it to automate the dispensing process will increase productivity and improve product appearance while reducing waste and operator fatigue. The EZ-7000 RP has four operating modes, making it exceptionally versatile. When used in the automatic mode, whenever a piece of tape is pulled from the dispenser, it feeds and cuts the next piece. In manual mode, the dispenser presents and cuts a piece of tape each time a button is pushed. A preset mode allows cutting of preselected number of pieces; machine stops and buzzer sounds when done. Loop mode allows continuous dispensing and cutting of non-adhesive material up to designated number. An LED provides dispenser status. Most tape or film can be dispensed with the EZ-7000 RP. The dispenser will cut very short pieces, starting at 4mm and up to a maximum of 999mm lengths. In addition to double-sided tapes, materials that are accepted include: craft, gummed, vinyl, cotton cloth, double face, paper, Kapton®, glass cloth, and many others.
