Thinbit® Groove'N Turn® Announces New Double-Ended Inserts
THINBIT®, manufactured by Kaiser Tool Company, now offers double-ended inserts for their GROOVE 'N TURN® line, U.S. Patent No. 6,824.333.
Inserts are available in two (2) grades of sub-micron grain carbide in popular sizes of .020", .030", .040", .060", .080" and .125". The offering will be expanded over time to include insert sizes in .001" increments from .004" to .150" and face grooving geometries with major diameters of .300", .750" and 1.250" along with high-speed steel inserts. Toolholders are available from 3/8" to 1-1/4" square and 1/2" to 1 " round in straight and 90° presentations.
