Humphrey Introduces SS250A Stainless Steel Double Diaphragm Air Valve
Humphrey Products Company has introduced the SS250A Stainless Steel Double Diaphragm 2-/ 3-Way air valve for use in applications requiring reliability, high flow, corrosion resistance and/or high-temperature operation. The new valve features a simple reliable design based on Humphrey's original mild steel version, which has been field proven for 20 years in thousands of applications.
The new SS250A valve features a fast response air-piloted, double diaphragm design that has no O-rings, no sliding seals, requires no lubrication and tolerates even dirty, wet air. The valve is constructed entirely of stainless steel, with Viton® A diaphragm material, and has a 1/4" NPT cylinder port and full 1/4" inlet and exhaust orifices. The valve has a pressure rating of 0 - 125 psig (normally closed) and 0 - 60 psig (normally open), a temperature range of 0°F to +400°F, an operating speed up to 600 CPM, and a flow rate (SCFM to atmosphere) that is 0.6 x the psig.
