Conbraco Model DCDA Double Check Detector Assemblies Detect Leaks, Unauthorized Use

Matthews, NC -- Conbraco double check detector assemblies are built and tested to perform double duty with extended service life.

Model DCDA units offer low head loss and protect against cross-connection of non-hazardous water into safe drinking water systems. Because they can precisely monitor leakage or unauthorized use of water, they are an ideal fit for fire sprinkler pipelines and low hazard service where metering of unauthorized water use is desired.

Sized from 2-1/2 to 10 inches, the detector assemblies feature an FDA- approved epoxy coated ductile iron body and bronze by-pass. Fasteners and springs are stainless steel; mainline discs are EPDM, while by-pass discs are made from silicone. Maximum working pressure is 175 psig; rated operating range is 33°F to 140°F. Corrosion-resistant Conbraco detector assemblies are built with removable seats and replaceable discs for easy in-line maintenance. The patented assemblies feature a bypass detector that houses a water meter and a double check valve assembly with two Apollo® shut-off ball valves and four test cocks.

The assemblies are approved under ASSE 1048 and FCCC&HR. They are FM approved and UL Classified when equipped with OS&Y gate valves.
