Doppler Flowmeter combines usability, repeatability, accuracy.

Press Release Summary:

Able to measure flow from outside pipe, DFM 5.1 uses doppler signal processing technology and works with difficult liquids, such as wastewater, sludge, slurries, and abrasives, or any liquid with bubbles or suspended solids. Clamp-on ultrasonic sensor mounts on ½ in. ID or larger pipe, and calibration and start-up are facilitated via 5-button keypad. Standard features include backlit display and totalizer, isolated 4–20 mA output, and 6 control relays. Several options are also available.

Greyline Announces Next Step in Ultrasonic Metering

Massena, NY – GREYLINE's new DFM 5.1 Doppler Flow Meter measures flow from outside a pipe. It employs the latest technology in Doppler signal processing. Faster, cleaner processing, greater data resolution and an improved ability to filter out noise, all combine to produce data accuracy far greater than previously possible.

The clamp-on ultrasonic sensor mounts on any pipe ½" ID or larger. The DFM 5.1 is designed for “difficult” liquids like wastewater, sludge, slurries, abrasives or any liquid with bubbles or suspended solids. Calibration and start-up is simple with the built-in 5-button keypad. Standard features include a large, backlit display and totalizer, isolated 4-20mA output and 6 control relays. Options include a built-in data logger and reporting system with USB output, Windows software and intrinsically safe sensor.

No other flow meter currently offers the DFM 5.1's combination of ease of use and highly repeatable, accurate, flow data. This makes it a natural choice for anyone measuring flow in industrial, municipal, oil & gas and other challenging environments.

Greyline's DFM 5.1 Doppler Flow Meter represents the best, most accurate Doppler meter available today.
