New Device Puts Doors In Their Place
(Sussex, WI) - TKO Doors introduces the new Posi-Lock. a lock option that insures their revolutionary knockout doors maintain a tight bottom seal.
The bottom seal plays a major role of protecting the dock area against threats to indoor environment brought about by the loss of conditioned air and the entry of winds, debris and moisture. Dock leveler spring back, however. can cause the door to drift upward. This problem is common to all dock leveler/sectional door combinations.
The Posi-Lock option keeps the door completely closed. When the door is shut, the Posi-Lock device automatically captures a detent pin attached to the top door panel. This mechanism holds the door snuggly in place against the dock leveler plate below.
The Posi-Lock also features a Y-Block that forces the top panel firmly to the lentil seal. preventing the escape of any air at the door header. An easy tug on the chain releases the pin, enabling the door to be thrown open.
