Tyco Fire & Building Products Expands Residential Sprinkler Line with the LF II Residential Domed Sprinkler

The LFII Residential Domed Sprinkler is the latest addition to Tyco's industry-leading LF II Series residential fire protection product line. The LFII Residential Domed Sprinkler is a concealed, pendent fire sprinkler designed to offer maximum coverage at the industry's lowest flow rates, while offering an aesthetically pleasing design that fits most every home décor. Unlike standard concealed sprinklers, the LFII Residential Domed Sprinkler features a domed cover plate. Less costly than the concealed flat plate designs, the domed design avoids the necessity of a 'drop down' sprinkler deflector. The domed cover plate allows the use of Tyco's existing industry leading LFII Pendent sprinkler without compromising the performance features of the sprinkler, offering outstanding aesthetics at a more affordable cost than traditional concealed sprinklers. The LFII Residential Domed Sprinkler features a 4.9 K-factor, maximum coverage area up to 20 feet x 20 feet, a minimum flow of 13 to 21 GPM (gallons per minute), and is UL Listed for installation in sloped and beamed ceilings. As with all of Tyco's LF II Series sprinklers, the LFII Residential Domed Sprinkler is UL Listed for installation with BlazeMaster® CPVC piping. The concealed cover plate is available in white (painted), and chrome finishes, and is designed to provide a half-inch vertical adjustment to the installer.
