Milwaukee - January 19, 2005 - Rite-Hite's new Eliminator(TM) - GapMaster II(TM) dock shelter by Frommelt sets new industry standards for durability and energy savings, and, with its new slim profile design, will fit almost anywhere.
The Eliminator - GapMaster II helps building owners achieve maximum energy savings at the dock. Integral GapMaster hooks on the shelter side curtains wrap around the edges of open swing-out trailer doors as the trailer backs in. These hinge gaps create about 2.5 square feet of open space that is left unsealed by ordinary shelters. In addition to preventing expensive loss of heating and cooling energy, the gap-sealing hooks help prevent dust and insect infiltration and increase employee comfort by preventing cold air infiltration.
Made of rugged, thermal formed polyethylene, the GapMaster hooks hold up in tough loading environments and are available in sizes to fit both standard refrigerated trailer doors. Hook profile is very thin, so full access to wide loads on the trailer is maintained.
The new Eliminator-GapMaster II's fully impactable side frames can take repeated hits from off-center trailers without damage. Made of a durable foam core surrounded by a flexible polyethylene sheet and rugged outer fabric, the side frames can be compressed entirely to the dock bumpers and return to their original shape and appearance.
