ESX 2016 Innovation Award Winner
Fort Worth, TX, June 8th, 2016: As announced at the 2016 ESX Innovation Awards, the DMP XR550 with its expanded Access Control capability wins the 2016 Innovation Award for best of Controllers: Stand-alone, Networked, or Appliance-based systems.
The XR550’s 96 doors capability was created to allow the already powerful commercial control panel the ability to handle almost any access control application. The focus was to not only keep the technology scalable but to simplify equipment, installation, and deployment costs. For the end user, this means big savings in those areas but also the ongoing administration of these type of systems.
“A greater number of doors allows dealers to use the features they already love for larger applications,” said Todd LeBrell, Access Control Product Manager at DMP. “Given that our mission is to listen, when our customers asked for more doors of access, our response was to make sure that they never had to ask for more.”
The XR550 is UL Listed for Commercial Burg, Commercial Fire and Access Control, making it one of very few products to hold these approvals. It can be managed by a couple of different enterprise software systems from DMP or completely managed by its cloud-based user management option, MyVirtualKeypad.com, where end-users can remotely manage pin codes and arming schedules, view integrated HD video, lock down doors, run reports, grant door access and much more, all from their computer browser, tablet or smartphone.
