Hubbell's CONNEXION Zone Distribution System Delivers Power and Data with Plug-and-Play Adaptability and Flexibility
MILFORD, Conn., June 22, 2005 - Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems announces the CONNEXION Zone Distribution System, a factory assembled, plug-and-play, 20-amp modular system specifically designed for raised floor commercial applications found in offices, retail outlets and educational institutions. The flexible CONNEXION system delivers power and data wherever needed and makes relocations and future upgrades easier and more efficient.
Unlike conventional through-wall wiring reconfigurations where new outlets and connectivity devices must be installed, CONNEXION brings power and data services right to the point of use with a unique zone distribution box that can expand from 4 to 16 circuits, as infrastructure requirements change. Because the Hubbell system is pre-manufactured, power and data can be installed by a 3-person crew in just one day to accommodate 15,000 sq.ft. of work space, as opposed to about three days using the traditional pipe and wire method. CONNEXION's modular design reduces labor expenses, operational costs, as well as worker disruption, for maximum productivity.
