New Distribution Panels from Scott Protect Specialty Gas Purity in Laboratory and Process Control Applications



Plumsteadville, PA-Scott Specialty Gases recently introduced Model 57P point-of-use distribution panels for specialty gases. They provide a practical way to regulate and control gases at the process point or location of GC equipment when gases are stored in a remote location. The new panels can incorporate up to four high-purity regulators that protect the integrity and purity of laboratory gases. Rear entry inlet ports allow for tubing to be installed safely behind the panel. Standard delivery pressure range is 0-100 psig (0-7 bar). Other delivery pressure ranges are available, Model 57P benefits and features include:

o High-purity design that guards against contamination of gases.
o Rear entry regulator inlet ports allow for piping to be installed behind the panel.
o Protects lab instruments via precision control of gas delivery.
o Stainless steel diaphragm eliminates off-gassing.
o High-purity diaphragm outlet valve provides gas flow control and positive shut-off.

Model 57PS features 316 stainless steel regulators and gauges for durability when used with corrosive gases, Model 57PB features brass construction and is recommended for use with noncorrosive gases only. Panels are 14-gauge powder coated for long service life.
