Sensor Measures up to 30 Meters with Amazing Accuracy
Leuze Lumiflex has extended the range of their distance measuring sensors with the addition of the new high-performance ODSL 30. The ODSL 30 reaches a maximum range of up to 30 m while maintaining an accuracy of +/- 1 mm. Even at a distance of 30 m the ODSL 30 works without any reflectors and shows outstanding black/white characteristics. The ODSL 30 is available with either analog or digital outputs and shows measured values in a display incorporated directly into the rugged, 160 x 79 x 65 mm housing. The ODSL 30's switching thresholds and response times can be set in order to match the individual application need and by simply pressing a button the user can quickly switch over from mm to feet. A menu-driven operating system utilizes soft, membrane push buttons and LCD display for fine-tuned adjustments of specific applications such as diameter determination or positioning.
