Thermo Spectronic offers the FRENCH Laboratory Press and two models of the FRENCH Pressure Cells for the disintegration of chloroplast materials, blood cells, unicellular organisms, and other biological particles. Use the pressure cell to disrupt the cellular walls of a sample while leaving the cell nucleus undisturbed. This technique results in more uniform and complete disruption than is possible with other mechanical or ultrasonic methods. FRENCH(R) Press Start Up Kit with the Miniature 20K FRENCH Pressure cell Thermo Spectronic introduces a new cell disruption package, the FRENCH Press Start Up Kit with the Miniature 20K FRENCH Pressure cell. Thermo Spectronic will now offer two cell disruption packages, the Standard 40K FRENCH Press Start Up Kit and the Miniature 20K FRENCH Press Start Up Kit. New FRENCH(R) Press Flow Valve Assembly for the Standard 40K FRENCH Pressure cell The new FRENCH Press O-ring Stem Valve assembly for the standard 40K FRENCH Pressure cell provides customers with a liquid tight seal and allows optimal control of the output flow rate. The O-ring based design makes it easy for the user to control the output flow rate and maintain a "closed" system during sample processing. The O-ring stem valve assembly replaces the steel based flow valve assembly in the Standard 40K FRENCH Pressure cell.
