IDC Increases Spout Opening For On-The-Go Bulk Carrier

International Dispensing Corporation Unveils 3-inch Carafe at NACS, New Orleans, LA,

New Orleans, LA (Oct 30-Nov 1, 2005) - International Dispensing Corporation, (IDC)(IDND.PK), manufacturer of innovative products for liquid bulk dispensing, proudly unveils their new three-inch insulated carafe for liquid products "on-the-go."

The 128 oz. carafe provides an easy way to transport coffee, tea, ready-to-eat soup, chilis, etc., while maintaining premium product quality. The unique inner liner maintains a constant temperature, and can insulate liquids for up to three hours after filling.

The carafe features a three-inch screw top mouth that can be pre-filled and poured out with the same amount of ease. The carafe is safely designed with a reinforced plastic carrying handle that makes pouring trouble-free. In addition, large corrugated side panels introduce marketing and advertising opportunities, as well as promotional campaigns.

The new three-inch carafe is available at convenience stores, grocery stores and other outlets where coffee, tea, and consumable soup is distributed ready-to-eat (hot or cold). In addition, the carafe can be used in a number of different foodservice outlets, including institutions, catering services, hotels and in other instances where users can assist themselves to prepared liquid products. The carafe, which is similar to the original beverage carafe, offers consumers a wider mouth, similar to filling a cup. The carafe represents the best disposable packaging solution for the retail and catering market compared to other disposable products.

"The opportunities are endless with the carafe, as we can fit it into most any application where coffee, tea, soup or consumes are distributed," says Gary Allanson, president and CEO of International Dispensing Corporation. "Our original beverage carafe carrier has gained much interest in the marketplace, and I expect this one to do the same. I'm happy IDC was able to introduce this product at NACS, as I cannot see a more fitting place to introduce something that might very well change the way liquid products are consumed in the convenience industry."

The 3-inch carafe was recently developed following the extremely positive industry response to IDC's one-inch beverage carafe for coffee 'on-the-go.' The innovative packaging has been quickly gaining interest by foodservice, grocery and convenience outlets alike for specialty coffee retailing. The carafe is comprised of sterile, flexible, biax nylon pouch attached to a rigid plastic frame, with corrugated side panels that attach to the plastic frame. A utility patent was granted to IDC by the U.S. Patent and Trademark office in April 2002.

International Dispensing, founded in 1995 and based in Hanover, MD, is a research and development company that develops and manufactures leading edge packaging and aseptic dispensing solutions for the foodservice industry. More information about the beverage carafe and the company's other products is available at the IDC Web site www.idcdispensing.com or by calling 410-761-0070.
