GPD Global Illuminator Controls Enhance Fiducial and Feature Recognition
Grand Junction, CO - GPD Global announces new programmable Illuminator Controls for their liquid dispensing systems, providing enhanced fiducial/feature recognition. By changing the color and/or intensity of the illuminator on the vision alignment system prior to pattern recognition, the system can compensate for a variety of substrate colors, reflective properties, or textures. This allows for more accurate and repeatable dispensing on such substrates as FR4, gold, and ceramic, critical for advanced applications in the high density interconnect and semiconductor packaging markets.
