Fluid Research Introduces the VTZ Series of Multi Component Dispensing Equipment

Tustin, CA - Fluid Research Corporation (FRC), a leading innovator and manufacturer of precision dispensing systems, has introduced the VTZ Series of meter, mix and dispensing equipment that offers three levels of performance.

The VTZ Series is a family of three, aggressively priced products including the Vulcan, Triton and Zephyr machines that are designed for uncompromised accuracy, longevity and ease of use to minimize training time. These reliable systems range from a basic economical dispensing platform to equipment that can be upgraded and customized to highly automated and sophisticated solutions

"The three systems that make up the VTZ Series are very versatile and we're excited about bringing this level of sophistication in at a price point that starts under $10,000," commented Stephen Gordon, FRC's vice president of engineering. "We're offering customers a graduated 'good, better, best' option for high quality meter, mix and dispensing solutions that will fit a variety of applications."

The Vulcan and Triton systems are both digitally controlled units that are designed for high volume and low to medium volume dispensing respectively. They are convenient tabletop machines with a compact footprint and the Vulcan can be configured with automation interface. Programming unique ratios, shot sizes, and dispense rates is easily done with a few keystrokes and the systems will dispense almost any type of material. Upgrades include progressing cavity pumps and FRC's proprietary Stat-A-Seal dispense head that virtually eliminates material leaking and curing in the head.

The sophisticated Vulcan platform has 35 timed and 20 continuous flow programs and like the Triton, can be fitted with stainless steel, pressurized tanks and FRC's optional Material Management Unit (MMU) for heating, agitation, vacuum feeding and degassing.

The economical Zephyr is built to exacting specifications and uses a direct dial analog knob control system. It can also be upgraded with progressing cavity pumps to meter viscous or filled material or it can use the standard gear pumps to dispense unfilled low viscosity components.

The VTZ Series minimizes labor costs, material waste and the need for clean up, which has a positive impact on the bottom line. The VTZ delivers accurate, reliable, repeatable results that will increase productivity and quality while minimizing prep/downtime.
