Loctite Introduces Semi-Automatic Dispense Systems With Low Level Sensor
Rocky Hill, Conn. - May 17, 2002. Loctite has introduced its family of integrated semi-automatic dispense systems available with low-level sensors that alert users to diminishing levels of adhesive in the reservoir. Low-level sensors are especially recommended when dispensing cyanoacrylate adhesives.
Loctite semi-automatic dispense systems are suitable for the application of cyanoacrylate, anaerobic, or acrylic adhesives or other fluids packaged in 200 gram tubes, 250 ml, one pound, one liter, and two kilogram bottles. Capable of interfacing with hand-held applicators and automatic dispense valves, these systems combine both a dispense valve controller and a fluid reservoir, saving valuable bench space and cost.
These units are available in two different pressure ranges: 0 to 15 psi (PN 97020) for dispensing low to medium viscosity fluids less than 3,000 cP, and 0 to 100 psi (PN 97017) for dispensing high viscosity fluids greater than 3,000 cP. The systems provide adjustable, digital timing for controlling the dispense time for any single or double acting dispense valve. Each unit offers a timed or continuous dispense mode.
