Henkel Introduces Adhesive Dispense Stations

Rocky Hill, Conn. - June 30, 2004....Henkel Corporation has introduced three new Loctite® Motion Control Dispense Stations designed for robotic adhesive dispense applications that require circular dispense patterns or advancing dispense valves. Featuring rugged construction and a robust slide design, all three stations are well suited to harsh manufacturing environments.

Simple to set up and operate, all three robust, fully-integrated systems will control any Loctite® syringe, cartridge or dispense valve, and require no separate dispense controller. These compact stations offer height, position, and angle of dispense point adjustments, and a stroke adjustment of 0 to 2 inches. A vacuum suck-back feature eliminates drips during syringe dispensing. An auto repeat mode cycles the units continuously with a foot switch. All units feature a rugged, all metal enclosure. A wide variety of mounting hardware is available.

The Loctite® Advancing Slide Dispense Station, item #98426, is designed with one dispense point for repetitive dispensing or potting operations that require z-axis movement. The unit includes precision timers accurate to 0.1 seconds. The sturdy work surface features four mounting holes for part fixturing.

For circular pattern dispensing, the Loctite® Rotary Dispense Stations, items #98427 and 98428, are available with one or two dispense points and can be programmed to dispense full circles, arcs and/or dots. On the 98427 single rotary dispense station, the height, position, and angle of the dispense point can be adjusted using stand clamps. For the 98428 dual rotary dispense station, the slide stand can be adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees and the angle of dispense points can be rotated freely. The dispense points can be positioned anywhere on the 12-inch mounting rail. Both models are easy to program with menu driven prompts.
