(TAILWIND) is leveling the playing field in the trucking software industry with its Carrier Management System -=AD TAILWIND CMS. TAILWIND has completed full integration with QuickBooks accounting, ProMiles Fuel Tax and Crystal Decisions' Crystal Reports software. TAILWIND CMS users can share customer, vendor, driver, invoices, receipts and payment detail with their QuickBooks accounting software. Integration with other accounting software products, including Simply Accounting and ACCPAC, will be completed in the coming weeks. Fuel tax reports can be easily issued with ProMiles Fuel Tax software, using data transferred from all trips and fuel bills entered into TAILWIND CMS. Custom reports and forms are now available for customers with special requirements through integration with Crystal Reports by Crystal Decisions.
Trucking companies no longer have to rely on expensive or complicated software to operate. "TAILWIND's combination of industry and technical knowledge allowed us to give TAILWIND CMS the features, quality, and power of very expensive trucking software without the hefty price tag," explains Mitch Helten, President of TAILWIND. TAILWIND acquired the original source code from a large transportation company that uses a version of the software internally.
