Powerful Disk Mill Achieves Analytical Fineness in Seconds



No grinder can beat the speed of a Vibratory Disk Mill when it comes to preparing samples for XRF or similar analyses. With the new model RS 200, Retsch once again meets and exceeds existing standards. The powerful 1.5 kW stabilized plane drive achieves grind sizes between 40 and 100 microns within seconds and with remarkable reproducibility. The standard deviation of d90 values is only half compared to other disk mills.

Samples of up to 250 ml with a max. particle feed size of < 15 mm are ground in dust-tight and user-friendly grinding sets of chrome steel, tungsten carbide, zirconium oxide or agate, contamination-free and neutral-to-analysis. Further features include all-digital controls with memory for up to 10 grinding programs, one button operation, automatic recognition and speed adjustment from 1400 to 700 rpm with agate grinding sets. The Retsch Vibratory Disk Mill RS 200 is ideally complemented by the automatic hydraulic pellet press PP 40. The RS 200 is available for immediate delivery.
