Dish Antennas support vertical and horizontal polarizations.

Press Release Summary:

Designed for performance in 4.9-5.8 GHz applications, HyperLink MIMO/802.11n antennas produce directive signal beam common in point-to-point applications. Dual polarity feature allows multi-thread communication, or transmitting data on one polarization and receiving it on other simultaneously. Comprising 3 models with 25, 30, or 34 dBi gain, antennas use type N-Female connectors and also include tilt and swivel mast mounting hardware.

L-Com's New Dual Polarity Dish Antennas Provide 4.9-5.8 GHz Broadband Signal in Both Vertical and Horizontal Polarizations

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - L-com, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has added new dual polarity antennas to its already broad line of HyperLink brand MIMO / 802.11n antennas. The new antennas are designed for high performance in the 4.9 GHz to 5.8 GHz range of applications, including:
· 4.9/5.1/5.3/5.4/5.8 GHz ISM and UNII Band applications
· MIMO and IEEE 802.11a/n applications
· 4.9 GHz Homeland Security and Public Safety Services applications
· WiMAX applications
· Long distance backhaul and Point to Point data links
· Commercial installers
· State and Federal Complexes
· Transportation Terminals (Air, Train, Bus, etc)

The new dish antennas feature a strong, highly-directive signal beam particularly common in point-to-point applications. The dual polarity feature allows multi-thread communication, or transmitting data on one polarization and receiving it on the other simultaneously. There are three HyperLink models available with 25 dBi, 30 dBi, or 34 dBi gains.

"We have been supporting the important 4.9 GHz to 5.8 GHz band for years, but until now we did not have a dual polarity option with this much gain," said Patrick Pesa, Director of Product Development. "These antennas will allow superior wireless communication in many essential applications."

The new antennas use type N-Female connectors and include tilt and swivel mast mounting hardware so they can be shipped to and set up on-site. They are priced very competitively to ensure availability on nearly any budget, and will be stocked domestically in L-com's HyperLink distribution center in Boca Raton, FL, for same-day shipment.
