New CleanBeam(TM) Red and NIR Diode Laser Systems
Longmont, CO - Melles Griot introduces the new CleanBeam(TM) 56 ICS-series of compact, diode laser systems with the superb beam quality previously available only from a gas laser. Output is available at 635, 640, 660, 785, or 830 nm, with power ranging from 7 to 40 mW (wavelength dependent). Output can be modulated at rates up to 5 MHz (standard) or 350 MHz (optional). laser systems are ideal for laser-induced fluorescence applications as well as for other applications where compact size, low noise, constant power, excellent beam quality, and long life are required.
The optical performance of CleanBeam laser systems is unsurpassed. The spatially filtered output beam is round with an M2 factor of less than 1.2. Laser temperature is controlled by a thermoelectric cooler that stabilizes output power, minimizes wavelength drift, and increases overall operating life. Each system undergoes extensive thermal testing to ensure optical and power stability over the full operating temperature range.
56 ICS-series systems are CE and CDRH certified and fully self-contained, and they require only 5 Vdc to operate. Individual units are fully characterized and are supplied with supporting test data to verify actual performance.
