Dimension Bond Corporation Named a "Whitford Recommended Coater"
Chicago, IL. Dimension Bond was formed under the Orion Industries umbrella by Bruce Nesbitt in 1997. Dimension Bond has developed a special, patented application process to apply coatings with a narrow range of dry-film thicknesses (+/- 3 microns). Its processes use the principles of liquid/slurry metering devices. These are unique in that they can meter coating materials containing PTFE and other soft fluoropolymers without agglomeration or coagulation of the coating. The range of parts currently processed by DB machinery includes the most complex shapes. The Recommended Coater program recognizes applicators who meet certain criteria set by Whitford, such as knowledge of Whitford coatings, experience in applying them, having a strong quality control program in place, and attendance at one of Whitford's bi-annual training sessions, held in Elverson, PA.
