(NASDAQ:TRID), a leading provider of set-top box and TV semiconductor solutions, today announced the HiDTV Pro-SXL(TM) fully integrated digital TV SOC (system-on-a-chip) that features Connected-TV, worldwide digital television standards support, and spectacular picture quality through Trident's second-generation enhanced Super Resolution (ESR) technology. With its low-cost and feature-rich design, the Trident HiDTV Pro-SXL SoC delivers capabilities normally found in higher-end TVs to a low-cost platform and provides consumers with access to leading web services such as video-on-demand, audio-on-demand, news, and sports.
