Digital Transformer Ratiometer stores test results automatically.
Press Release Summary:
Digital Transformer Ratiometer DTR® 8510 stores up to 10,000 test results and up to 10 primary/secondary nameplate voltages to compare test results. Ratio testing capabilities include PT/VT from 0.8000:1 to 8000:1 and CT from 0.8000 to 1000.0. It features continuity test, to indicate open or loose terminal connections, and DC test mode that eliminates errors due to magnetic build up. Unit's display warns of incorrect lead connection, reverse polarity, and open and short circuits.
Original Press Release:
AEMC® Introduces the NEW Digital Transformer Ratiometer DTR® Model 8510
AEMC's NEW Digital Transformer Ratiometer DTR®, Model 8510, is a second-generation instrument incorporating the latest technology, improving on its' highly successful predecessor the Model 8500. It offers straight forward operation, high accuracy, data storage and provides automatic test result documentation.
Significant Features Include:
o Ratio Testing: PT/VT from 0.8000:1 to 8000:1 and CT from 0.8000 to 1000.0 (Auto-Ranging)
o Tests performed by exciting the primary and reading the secondary; provides safer conditions for the operator on step-down transformers
o Continuity test indicates open or loose (high resistance) terminal connections
o DC test mode eliminates errors due to magnetic build up
o Stores up to 10 primary/secondary nameplate voltages to use in comparing test results
o Displays ratio, test current, winding polarity, and deviation from nameplate voltage or ratio
o Stores up to 10,000 test results
o DataView software included which allows configuring the instrument, downloading stored measurements and printing of test results in a report format
o Display warns of incorrect lead connection, reverse polarity, open and short circuits
o CE Pending - Consult Factory
