Digital Temperature Sensor IC from SDIC

Hangzhou SDIC Microelectronics recently launched a series of digital temperature sensor ICs: SD5020, SD5075, and SD5003. They have very low power consumption, high accuracy, and wide operation range. Typical power consumption is only 170µA during temperature measurement. Measurement inaccuracy is less than ± 0.5°C from -40°C to 85°C. Resolution is 0.0625°C. Measurement range is -55°C to +125°C.

SD5020 employs single wire communication. Over-temperature and hysteresis thresholds can be set through registers. Each IC has a unique 40-bit address suitable for multi-slaves system. The IC is pin compatible with DS18B20.

SD5075 communicates with other devices through its I2C/SMBus compatible line interface. Eight SD5075 can be connected in parallel by setting their A2-A0 address bits. The IC is pin compatible with ADT75/LM75A/TMP75.

SD5003 provides PWM open-drain output. It has fixed output frequency with duty cycle changes in proportion to temperature. The IC is pin compatible with TMP03.

Package: TO-92 or SOP8 for SD5020 and SD5003. SOP8 for SD5075.
