Digital Sensing System measures up to 32 accelerometers.

Press Release Summary:

DSS uses DSIT (Digital Sensor Interface Transmitter) technology to optimize use of digital technology in structural dynamics and modal analysis measurements. Multi-channel, multi-drop, data acquisition system measures up to 64 channels per chassis. Remote DSITs perform 24-bit analog-to-digital conversion near ICP® accelerometers and transmit signals back digitally via ribbon cable. System offers 110 dB dynamic range, TEDS compatibility, and Ethernet communication.

Measure 32 Accelerometers Using ONE Cable with DSIT Technology

Slash Cable Costs! Simplify Cable Routing! Dramatically Reduce Setup Time!

February 1, 2003, Provo, UT - The Larson Davis DSS (Digital Sensing System) is a multi-channel, multi-drop, high-speed data acquisition system using revolutionary DSIT (Digital Sensor Interface Transmitter) technology to optimize the use of digital technology in structural dynamics and modal analysis measurements.

Measure up to 64 channels per chassis with remote DSITs performing 24-bit analog-to-digital conversion near ICP® accelerometers and transmitting their signals back digitally via low cost ribbon cable. Link chasses with synchronous sampling to build high channel count systems at low cost per channel without sacrificing performance. System features include 110 dB dynamic range, TEDS compatibility, Ethernet communication and fan-less operation.
