Digital Salt/Salinity/Brix Refractometers - Four (4) Models - High Accuracy ±0.1% and ±1 PPT
Kernco Instruments Co., Inc. is pleased to introduce four (4) digital salt/salinity refractometers designed to read and measure salt/salinity from 0-28%, as well as the measurement of refractive index (nD) from 1.3330 to 1.3900, read and measure
brix/salt/refractive index in ranges of 0-35% brix, 0-28% salt and refractive index from 1.3330 to 1.3900, the last model reads in salinity in parts per thousand with range of 0-280 ppt and it also reads in refractive index of 1.3330 - 1.3900.
General Information and Uses
These models are useful for controlling the salt level of brine solutions, measuring concentrations of salt water used in rinsing and cooking sea products, and checking salt content of holding tanks, aquariums and breeding ponds. Extremely useful in canning and preparation of food products by monitoring salt content. Models also measure salinity of saline solutions and seawater density (in parts per thousand and refractive index). Special Model DR-35-BSR also measures Brix % as well as salt %. Therefore this model is ideal for process operations where it is important to know the brix % and salt % for different food products on the production line. All models come with automatic temperature feature. All models are supplied with battery, carrying case and operating manual.

The sophisticated microprocessor provides automatic calibration, automatic shutoff after 3 minutes, a low
battery indicator, and a low power consumption resulting in over 2,000 tests per battery. Water resistant design protects the electronics from wet environments and makes for easy clean ups.
