Vicon Introduces Its 16-Channel Digital Video Recorder With Audio Capability
Hauppauge, NY, January 25, 2005....Vicon Industries Inc. is pleased to announce that the Kollector Pro Digital Recording System is now available with audio capability.
The "V" line of Kollector Pros provide simultaneous recording of 4, 8 or 16 channels (model dependent) of audio. Data storage is 0.7 GB/12 hour day/microphone. All the excellent features of the standard Kollector Pro recorders are retained in the versions with audio.
ViconNet powers each Kollector Pro with the ability to be remotely configured on the network. Changes to camera titling, macro programming and scheduling, as well as frame rate manipulation, are all possible from one or more recorders or workstations on the system. Kollector Pro has the ability to simultaneously record, playback and transmit video from up to 16 digital video channels at a maximum recording rate of 120 fps automatically optimized for maximum recording rate per channel.
Kollector Pro includes an integrated GUI for system configuration/playback/record on a SVGA monitor. The playback control allows viewing all video scenes individually during playback without affecting recording. In addition, it supports Internet connectivity for remote video transmission.
