Original Press Release:

Neenah Paper Expands Digital Papers Selection More Colors, More Textures, More Choices

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Neenah Paper (NYSE: NP) introduces the most comprehensive offering of digital papers in the industry. The new Neenah Digital offering comprises papers from 12 premium brands in a wide range of colors, textures and weights. To be specific, 29 colors, 13 textures, and 12 weights. Most papers are available in five common digital sizes. If that isn't enough, the environmental properties and certifications that these papers offer make Neenah Digital the ideal choice for any digital print project. And of course, matching envelopes are available.

The new Neenah Digital offering includes some unique-and unexpected-color choices. Rich, deep colors like Canyon Brown, Red Pepper and Epic Black. With these dark colors, Neenah Paper is the first in the industry to really take advantage of the new white ink capability of the HP Indigo press. Of course a wide range of Neenah's top selling whites as well as several popular light colors are still part of the offering, but the addition of dark and medium tone colors gives printers and designers the opportunity to do so much more with a digital printing press.

The selection of textures is unmatched. From smooth to linen, stipple to pearlized, even a translucent sheet, it's an abundance of choices. Some finishes are softly watermarked; some are crisply embossed. No matter your choice, texture always adds tactile and visual appeal. Some of the more unique papers have never before been considered for digital printing. Papers that can add a luxurious quality to print communications, like UV/ULTRA® II Translucent Printing Papers, ESSE® Pearlized Finish Papers, and CRANE'S CREST® 100% Cotton Papers.

All papers in the offering have Neenah's proprietary universal digital finish, and are guaranteed to perform on most digital printing presses, such as Xerox iGen®, Kodak NexPress® and Canon ImagePress(TM). Many are also third-party certified for HP Indigo by the HP Indigo® Substrate Certification Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Neenah has created sample books exclusively for printers, each one printed on one of these presses, so that they can see exactly how their press, whether it uses ink or toner, will perform on the colors and textures. Whatever your digital print technology, Neenah has the solution for you. For a press-specific Digital Sample book, contact your Neenah Paper sales representative.
