GE Announces Series 7050 Digital Pressure Indicators for High Performance Pressure Measurement Applications
Houston, Texas, September 8, 2003 - GE Ruska, a unit of GE Industrial Systems and the General Electric Company (NYSE: GE) and a leading provider of precision pressure test and calibration instruments and services, announced today the immediate availability of the Series 7050 Digital Pressure Indicators which are designed to measure pressure to the highest performance levels available in a digital format. Three models are available to meet a variety of performance and pressure range applications and budgets.
The Model 7050i provides the highest performance with a precision of 0.005% of Reading from 25% to 100% of the instruments pressure range. A variety of pressure ranges are available from 0 - 5 psi up to 0 -1500 psi. Alternatively, the Model 7050 which is available in the same pressure ranges, provides a high value with a precision of 0.003% of full scale. Either model can be operated in gauge mode or absolute mode via the Barometric Reference Option or the Vacuum Reference Option.
For low pressure measurement applications, the Model 7050LP is the optimal choice providing two low pressure ranges in a single instrument for maximum performance. The most popular range combination is the 0 to 10 inH2O and 0 to 30 inH2O, although, other range combinations to 100 inH2O are also available. The 7050LP provides a precision of 0.005% of each installed range.

All three Series 7050 models have a long-term stability of 0.0075% of Reading per year providing excellent long-term performance and reducing cost of ownership with a one year calibration interval. Each model also features both RS-232 and IEEE-488 interfaces and are provided with a NIST traceable calibration certificate. And, since GE Ruska is NVLAP accredited to ISO 17025, an accredited calibration report can also be supplied.
