Precise pH Measurement with Automatic Temperature Compensation



The ebro(TM) PHT 3140 pH meter from Dresser Instruments gives quick and precise measurements of pH through a temperature compensated probe for a variety of applications. Measurements can be made from 0-14 pH with a resolution of 0.01 pH% with 0.02 pH accuracy. Temperature measurements from -10° to 100° C (14° to 212° F) with a resolution of 0.1 C with +/- 0.3C accuracy, (+/- 1 digit) can also be made.

This instrument has a min/max memory feature as well as a convenient self-calibration function. The integrated touch-pad panel and the 4 1/2-digit liquid-crystal display, (LCD) is easy to read. The battery has a five to eight year life.

Optional kits for this unit come in sturdy, portable cases including pH4 and pH7 buffer solutions, KCL-electrolyte, and tip cleaners. Other options include assortments of glass and plastic pH electrodes for penetration in semi-solid food materials such as beef and cheese. Probes specifically for wastewater, galvanic, aquariums, beverages, or cosmetics are also available.

The ebro(TM) model PHT 3140 and the lower cost model, PHT 1495 with manual temperature compensation, offer a two-year warranty.
