Quantum Composers Simplifies Timing and Reduces Hardware Costs

July 1, 2008

Bozeman, MT Quantum Composers, Inc. introduces the Model 9530 Digital Delay/Pulse Generator that represents the latest in timing and synchronizing capabilities. This is the most innovative instrument to accurately synchronize laser system timing or any series of experimental events. The Model 9530 combines the precise timing properties of digital delay generators with the versatility of general purpose pulse generators.

A new unique 19" 1U form factor and a 100MHz low amplitude clock input is perfect for laser system integration. This allows the user to use the photodiode signal directly from the laser and phase-lock all of the system timing relative to the laser frequency with low jitter. This new pulse generator provides up to 8 independent width and delay outputs while competitor models are limited to just edges or require that two channels be combined to provide complete timing control. The 9530 provides complete independent programming including precise widths and delays out of each channel.

Other key features that distinguish the Model 9530 include remote programmability - RS232, USB and Ethernet, Internal rate generator - 10ns period resolution over entire 20 MHz frequency range, 8 independent outputs, dual inputs (gate and/or trigger), and complete channel and system setup stored in memory.
