New PixelFlyQE With Enhanced Quantum Efficiency At 1390 x 1024 Pixel Resolution



The latest addition to our line of digital ccd cameras, the PixelFlyQE now offers improved quantum efficiency with higher pixel resolution of 1390 x 1024. Designed to meet the most demanding scientific/medical inspection and machine vision applications, this 12-bit super-compact camera features Digital Temperature Compensation enabling the PixelFly to maintain the same noise performance regardless of any ambient temperature fluctuations. It's compact design eliminates the need for a space-consuming thermal electric cooling unit. All camera functions are remotely controlled with imaging software. This work-horse is available in five CCD sensor types including VGA, SVGA, HiRes, UV and QE. Measuring just 2.5" x 1.5" inches, size does not compromise its performance with an exposure time of 1/100,000 to 10 seconds.

PixelFlyQE's miniature head can easily connect to a standard or compact PCI board via a high speed serial data link. The PCI boards include a front-end processor that can handle task controls and provide opto-isolated triggers. The front-end processor also includes high-side drivers allowing integration to SPS and other required control functions. The download feature of the processor via the PCI bus adds to the versatility interface of the system. All camera functions are remotely controlled via a digital interface, making the PixelFlyQE usable in both Intranet and Internet environments.

A perfect fit for space-limited applications like machine vision/industrial applications, the PixelFlyQE application spectrum ranges from combustion analysis, high resolution microscopy, spray imaging, bioluminescence, red & NIR fluorescence, ion imaging, green fluorescent protein, spectroscopy, ballistics, particle image velocimetry, FLIM, medical x-ray imaging and low light level imaging.

Easily customized for OEM configurations, other PixelFlyQE options include CCD sensor with RGB filters, hardened against magnetic fields, integrated photometer or power supply for CPCI at 24 V input.
