Sipex Announces Three New 20Mbps Differential Transceivers with Enhanced ESD
(Milpitas, CA - Febuary 11, 2004) - Sipex Corporation (NASDAQ: SIPX), a leading provider of high performance, analog integrated circuits (ICs), today introduced three new RS485 transceivers, the SP1481E, SP1490E and SP1491E. With high data rates of 20Mbps, ±15kV ESD protection, low power operation and industry standard form factors, these transceivers are ideal for RS485 and RS422 applications such as security systems, instrumentation, data-com, and point of sale networks.
The SP1481E is a half-duplex transceiver while the SP1490E and SP1491E are full-duplex and can be used to create repeaters to extend the reach of a differential bus. Both the SP1481E and SP1491E offer low power shutdown.
