Diaphragm Valves withstand corrosive environments.

Press Release Summary:

All-plastic diaphragm valves for 3, 4 and 6 in. pipelines are suitable for control of liquids, gases, and slurries in both on/off and modulating services. Each has handwheel that opens or closes valve with minimal effort. Plastic valves will never fail, jam, stick, or freeze in position because of rust or corrosion; will never contaminate sensitive process fluids; and never need to be painted or coated.

New, All Plastic, Large Size Diaphragm Valves for Liquid, Gas and Slurry Applications

Hayward's new, all-plastic diaphragm valves in sizes for 3", 4" and 6" pipelines have been designed for use in demanding applications such as the control of liquids, gases and slurries in both on/off and modulating services.

The new large size diaphragm valves are not just "scaled-up" versions of the company's existing smaller size diaphragm valves, 1/2" but have been especially designed to meet the applications requirements required by larger size valves.

For example, a rugged, sure-grip hand wheel makes it easy to open or close the valve with a minimal amount of effort. And in modulating service, the hand wheel permits precise adjustment of the desired flow rate. A highly visible stem position indicator shows, at a glance, the position of the valve - open, closed or any position in between.

The all-plastic construction of Hayward's new large size diaphragm valves means that they will never fail, jam, stick or freeze in position because of rust or corrosion. They will never contaminate sensitive process fluids as a metal valve can. Another benefit of the plastic construction is that the valves never need to be painted or coated. They will withstand corrosive environments right out of the box. Installation of the valves is easier than metal ones as well because of the valves' lighter weight.

Hayward's new all-plastic, large size diaphragm valves are available with either EPDM or PTFE diaphragms in both PVC and Corzan® CPVC construction - and come with flanged piping connections.
