(Lancaster, PA) - Spring / Summer 2003
With an emphasis on service, ITT Industries, Engineered Process Solutions Group, under the Dia-Flo® brand name has announced the release of a new liner material for their weir style diaphragm valve that adds up to a greater range of severe service applications for this widely used valve.
The new PFA liner is a fluoropolymer material designed to handle the most aggressive chemicals and is now more tolerant to higher temperatures with capabilities up to 350°F. Molded into the
ductile iron valve body using the Line-Lok® feature exclusive to Dia-Flo®' this liner -- at no less than a minimum of 3mm thick -- is fused throughout the valve body helping to protect against
permeating chemicals. The Line-Lok feature is a process of liner application to ensure that the PFA material stays attached to the valve body even in the most demanding thermal cycling
applications.
