Rietschle Thomas SMF 2 Pumps Provide Accurate Liquids Dosing

Rietschle Thomas SMF 2 Series miniature diaphragm pumps offer an attractive, cost-effective alternative for medical, laboratory, industrial, or food and beverage applications requiring high accuracy dosing of low-viscosity liquids.

These compact pumps - 3.35 inches (85mm) in length and weighing 6.4 oz. (0.18kg) - have a rated fluid flow of up to 52.5 ml/min and maximum pressure of 1.16 psig (80mbar). Flow per stroke can range from 0.1 to 0.25ml.

Suitable for continuous duty use, the SMF 2 pump provides long-life, quiet operation and low power consumption. EPDM valve and diaphragm materials are standard, with others available to meet special application needs. The pumps are self-priming and may safely be run dry. An integrated flow stop function prevents drain-off when the pump is at rest.

Flow repeatability of 5% or better is achieved through use of a microprocessor-based electronic oscillator board with eight pre-set frequencies. Both 12 and 24 VDC versions are available as standard. AC-powered pumps are also available for customers wishing to use their own electronics.

With annual sales of over two million units into more than 70 countries, Rietschle Thomas stands as the world leader in vacuum and pressure technology. Rietschle Thomas has been supplying custom and standard pumps and compressors for both air and liquid for over four decades. Rietschle Thomas products are used in a wide variety of applications including medical and pharmaceutical equipment, automobiles, business machines, printing presses, packaging machines, environmental systems and vending products, among others.
