Original Press Release:

Smallest Micro Liquid Diaphragm Pump

Trenton, NJ - The latest technology has enabled KNF to reduce the size of the NF5 significantly below the other pumps in the product range. It pumps liquids and liquid/gas mixtures at a flow rate of 50 ml/min. The NF5 has smooth, quiet pumping characteristics and features a suction height of 13 ft. water (12 in. Hg) and a discharge pressure of 15 psig. The maintenance-free NF5 can be mounted in any position and is virtually inaudible while running. The NF5 is available in two versions, differing in size, operating life and price. Liquid diaphragm pumps provide consistent, reliable operation over their lifetime, eliminating tubing fatigue or failure. Featuring a corrosion-resistant Ryton/EPDM envelope, they can handle mild acids, inks, caustics and other difficult materials. Self-priming, they will run dry indefinitely. The NF family features free-flow range from 50 ml to 1 L/min flow, to 16 ft. water suction or 85 psi (33 ft. water) head pressure. With its low current and power consumption, the NF is ideal for mobile, battery-powered applications, but is equally suitable for use in medical and analytical instruments, and in the cleaning, dispensing, waste-removal and ink-jet printing industries.
