DeviceNet Cable Offers Long Life at Small Bending Radii

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI (May 1, 2003) - igus®, inc. offers Chainflex® CF13, a DeviceNet cable made specifically for use in cable carriers. Chainflex® CF13 DeviceNet cable meets the specific requirements of the OVDA DeviceNet standards and pairs communication with control in one twisted pair, continuous-flex bus cable that offers maximum cycle life even at very small bending radii.

The cable is specially designed for 10x diameter flexibility using a PUR jacket and offers resistance to abrasion, oil, cooling fluids, and other harsh environments. As with all igus Chainflex® products, the CF13 cable is designed to operate best within an Energy Chain® cable carrier. For more information, consult igus® with your specific application parameters.

The CF13 DeviceNet cable can be used safely without interference near strong electromagnetic DC fields, such as resistance welding machines, SCRs, DC motors and controls. These continuous-flex, round cables offer three rates; of data transmission: 125Kbps, 250Kbps, and 500Kbps
