Deublin has Introduced New HPS Series Steam Joint for Corrugating Applications
Deublin Company has introduced the new HPS Series self-supported Steam Joints, designed specifically for use on corrugating machines. HPS applications include applicator rolls, doctor rolls, center shaft, pre-heat rolls, pressure rolls and upper and lower corrugating rolls.
The Steam Joint features dual bushing type bearings, unique convex antimony impregnated carbon graphite seal to withstand high steam pressures and external siphon clearance adjustment. The Steam Joint also features ductile iron housing, stainless steel spring and a special collet attachment of siphon that eliminates siphon breakage.
The HPS is designed for speeds upto 400 rpm and operating steam pressure of 250 psi (17.2 bar).
