Detector Array characterizes polymers and proteins.

Press Release Summary:

Triple Detector Array (TDA) is available with low angle light scattering (LALS) detector, which operates at 7 deg without correction or extrapolation. TDA determines absolute molecular weight, molecular structure and molecular size (to less than .5 nm) of natural or synthetic polymers. It employs concentration detector, viscometer and light scattering detector acting in concert, with each detector providing complementary but different information.

Triple Detector Array with LALS

Viscotek's Triple Detector Array (TDA) is now available with a low angle light scattering (LALS) detector. The Viscotek LALS operates at 7 degrees without the correction or extrapolation required by other light scattering detectors. The TDA is used for
the determination of absolute molecular weight, molecular structure and molecular size (to < .5 nm) of a natural or synthetic polymer in a single GPC experiment. It employs a
concentration detector, viscometer and light scattering detector acting in concert, with each detector providing complementary but different information. Triple Detection sets the standard for GPC/SEC (Gel Permeation Chromatography / Size Exclusion
Chromatography) technology and is the preferred method for characterizing natural and synthetic polymers and proteins.
