Detecting Harmful SF6 Insulating Gas Leaking from High Voltage Switches
smartGAS has developed NDIR modules that can detect extremely potent greenhouse gas SF6 (sulfur hexafluoride) insulating gas leaking from high voltage switches. SF6 gas is used because of it’s great insulating properties at high voltages. It is extremely harmful to the environment though.
