Despatch Industries Receives Multiple Orders for Redesigned Clean Process Ovens

Minneapolis, Minn., U.S.A. - Despatch Industries, the world's leading thermal processing equipment provider for over one hundred years, has received multiple orders for the company's recently redesigned PCO2-14 inert atmosphere, clean process ovens. All orders came from European customers performing polyimide curing applications.

"We recently modified the design of the PCO2-14 to reduce the overall cost of the tool and make it more competitive in the market," states Kim Meyer, Despatch Product Manager. "In the modification process we removed excess materials and options to bring the product more in-line with our customers' needs, without sacrificing any of the high performance features and capabilities of the oven."

The PCO2-14 is an electrically heated, clean process oven, designed to meet the specific process requirements for baking polyimide coatings in an inert atmosphere. Unique features of the oven include a pressure relief system, an oxygen control system and a process monitoring system that allows the oven to achieve the strict oxygen level and atmospheric requirements involved in polyimide curing. SECS/GEM communication integration package is available as an option. All interior seams are continuously welded to protect the work chamber from contamination. Re-circulated air is one hundred percent HEPA filtered for ISO Class 5 (Class 100) or better operation.

Despatch has specialized in thermal processing for over 100 years and is actively using this technical expertise to provide innovative solutions to critical applications in a broad range of markets and cutting edge technology worldwide.
