Despatch Industries Receives Large Order for Clean Process Ovens from Semiconductor Manufacturer

Minneapolis, Minn., U.S.A. - Despatch Industries, the world's leading thermal processing equipment provider for over one hundred years, announces that the company has received a large order for its LLD inert atmosphere clean process ovens from a long-time customer in the semiconductor industry. The customer will use the ovens to perform stress baking of wafers for its innovative semiconductor memory products.

"In initial testing of the LLD, the customer was extremely pleased with the performance characteristics of the oven," states Steve Eul, Despatch Applications Engineer. "This customer has purchased different oven models in the past to perform their stress bake application. We recommended the LLD for its lower oxygen content, fast heat up and cool down rates, temperature uniformity and overall robustness to handle the customer's demanding production requirements."

The LLD clean process ovens will be equipped with Watlow F4 programmable controls to allow the customer to standardize these new ovens with the temperature control on their existing equipment. The LLD oven has temperature capabilities up to 350°C (662°F) and features stainless steel interior and exterior.

Despatch has specialized in thermal processing for over 100 years and is actively using this technical expertise to provide innovative solutions to critical applications in a broad range of markets and cutting edge technology worldwide.
