MPC Computers Introduces New ClientPro 212 Desktop Computer
Managed Desktop PC in an Ultra-Small Design
NAMPA, Idaho, April 3 / -- MPC Computers, a wholly owned subsidiary of HyperSpace Communications, Inc. (AMEX:HCO), today announced the ClientPro(R) 212 desktop computer. This new desktop system features the latest technology in an ultra-small, space-saving design.
The ClientPro 212 utilizes the industry standard compact picoBTX (Balanced Technology Extended) desktop form factor, which provides users with the latest innovations in thermal management, ultra-small desktop footprint, and quiet acoustics. At 7 liters, the new product is approximately half the size of MPC's current small form factor desktop system. Its unique ducted airflow system is designed to cool the highest heat-producing components on the system, and high-volume fans spin at a slower rate resulting in quieter operation.
Technology enhancements to the ClientPro 212 include the option for Intel's Pentium D processors with Dual Core Technology, the Intel 945G Express chipset, and dual channel DDR2 SDRAM memory (up to 667MHz). Intel's Dual Core Technology enables the processor to work on separate tasks simultaneously. The chipset and faster memory offer improved responsiveness and better overall system performance.
In addition, the ClientPro 212 offers integrated Gigabit Ethernet for a fast, reliable network connection. The integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 provides graphics performance that is twice as fast as previously available versions. The Trusted Platform Module and Intel's Active Management Technology enhance the ClientPro 212's security and management features.
